Protecting the personal data of individuals is important to us. We commit that the information we collect is only kept for as long as necessary to assist you in the use of this website, for our sales and marketing purposes, or other purposes described in this privacy notice.
This website will likely be for professional use as we deliver business-to-business services.
Trapets' websites may contain links to other companies' websites or services with their privacy policies. Trapets is not responsible for processing personal data from other companies' websites or services.
Trapets services to our customers include processing by Trapets of personal data on behalf of our customers as processors of such personal data. Each customer is the data controller of that personal data. Such processing by Trapets is governed by the relevant customer contracts, including data processing agreements, and is outside the scope of this privacy notice.
Business contact data
Trapets's website, www.trapets.com, allows Trapets to collect information on IP addresses and website activities for all visitors using cookies (see below for more information about cookies). Trapets's websites also allow the visitor to complete a form in which the user provides Trapets with specific personal data (name, e-mail address, phone number, and company) to be contacted by Trapets and/or to sign up for Trapets newsletters, webinars or events, or to download material. Providing Trapets with any such information is voluntary. For visitors that have provided personal data to Trapets, Trapets may also collect other publicly available personal data (e.g. title /position or contact information) from publicly available sources such as LinkedIn or commercial. Trapets also collects potential business contact data from commercial sources. Trapets do not collect or process any sensitive data.
Trapets will process the collected personal data only for customer relationship management (CRM) and B2B sales and marketing purposes, including lead generation and nurturing, including the distribution of newsletters, on the legal basis that Trapets's processing is necessary for Trapets's legitimate interest of CRM and sales and marketing activities as described in this privacy notice.
Instantwatch KYC Screening Data
Trapets may also collect and process personal data on sanctioned individuals or sanctioned entities and information about politically exposed persons (PEP) and their close family members and associates from Trapets' third-party vendors or collected from publicly available sources. The report will generally include name, nationality, date of birth, address and, where available, personal identification numbers and position (collectively referred to as "KYC Screening Data"). The KYC Screening Data is used solely for the delivery of Instantwatch KYC Screening services, directly or via Trapets' reseller partners, to help operators and other parties to comply with their legal obligations regarding anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing and/or sanctions compliance. KYC Screening Data is continuously updated and will not be stored longer than necessary for its purpose or compliance with legal requirements for Trapets or our customers. By default, the collection and processing of KYC Screening Data are performed by Trapets as processors for our customers (the controllers). Such processing by Trapets is governed by the relevant customer contract, including the data processing agreement, and is outside the scope of this privacy notice.
However, to a limited extent, the collection and processing of KYC Screening Data is performed by Trapets as a controller for such processing and is then based on a legitimate interest in the delivery of Instantwatch KYC Screening service, directly or via Trapets' reseller partners, to customers or third parties with a legal obligation about anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing and/or sanctions compliance. KYC Screening Data may be transferred to Trapets' partners, their end customers or Trapets' customers as part of the Instantwatch KYC screening service. Such partners and/or end customers are responsible for processing the KYC Screening Data.

Business contact data
Personal data will not be stored longer than necessary for Trapets' CRM or B2B sales and marketing or compliance with legal requirements. As a general rule, for Trapets customers, Trapets will store the personal data (names and contact details) of the relevant contact persons for the duration of the customer relationship and for a reasonable time after that. For leads or prospective customers in Trapets' sales process and other contacts, Trapets will store the personal data for as long as deemed relevant, depending on the connection.
