On Monday, 28 September, we're adding around 400 new profiles to PEP Edge, Trapets' curated PEP list.
This is a larger update than usual and follows the recent Swedish parliamentary election.
Political roles change continuously, particularly following elections, and our team actively monitors these developments across the Nordics and selected parts of the EU.
As part of this update, we have reviewed the changes following the Swedish election and identified and verified new PEP profiles, changes to public roles and relevant family connections.
This is part of our continuous work to keep PEP Edge accurate and up to date, helping you identify changes in customer risk and maintain effective ongoing screening.
What does this mean for me?
As a Trapets customer, you don't need to make any changes. The new profiles are already in the list, so you can screen new and existing customers against the latest data.
Because coverage has expanded, you may see more PEP alerts for existing customers. This is expected and reflects the new and updated political roles in the list.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us on the Support Portal.
